NASS 2005: Mark Webb claims his first win of the Braun cruZer Tour Spine while Justin Miller takes his second straight win in the Flatland Pro Competition.
Somerset, July 10, 2005 Finals day at NASS, with over 40,000 spectators descending on the fields of the Bath and West Showground over the weekend, the riders knew they had a crowd to impress and impress they did!
Braun cruZer Tour Spine Contest: One of the clear event highlights drawing in the crowds, was the Braun cruZer Tour Spine contest, with the riders knowing they had everything to play for as they went into the 5th leg of the tour. The ever, impressive Mark Webb (UK) went all out for victory with multiple runs of technical and flare tricks. The battle for second place and those vital tour points was between Ben Wallace (UK) and Craig Stevens (UK), as Ben did just enough to impress the judges to claim second place and with it, his first points of the tour. The charismatic Chris Mahoney (UK), was unable to reclaim his title, settling for fourth place, as the standard of riding had climbed to an all time high. Mark Webb is the current leader of the Braun cruZer Tour Spine.

There will also be a Braun cruZer Tour demonstration at V Festival, Staffordshire on August 20-21st.

Braun cruZer Tour Flatland The Pro Flatland final proved as exciting, with Justin Miller (USA) taking a second straight tour victory, producing a combination of characteristically difficult front wheel moves. The British boys pulled together some technical combo's to take the final podium spots, with Sam Foakes (UK) in second and Effraim Catlow (UK) placing third. Effraim will be looking to take those vital tour points to the next stop of the Tour as it heads to his home turf - King of Concrete, Southsea on August 26-28th. Current Tour leaders Viki Gomez (ESP) and Alex Jumelin (FRA) were unable to add maximum points to their ever increasing points tally's, having to settle for fourth and eighth respectively.
